You helped me with a very precious family project and I am so very thankful!
My grandfather and grandmother wrote letters to each other for years before they were married. They both lived in the Bronx, but this was in the early 1940’s before we had cell phones and email, and their form of communication was the written word. My grandfather joined the army and while he was in training, preparing for the war, they continued their letter writing diligently. These letters were discovered in recent years, neatly bundled in my grandparent’s attic. Victoria, you were able to breathe new life into these sacred family documents. I brought them to you and you carefully scanned each brittle and fragile page and envelope to create a collection of personal love letters that will now be shared with t my grandparents’ sons, daughters, granddaughters, grandsons and this tradition will continue to be shared with great grandchildren and beyond.
You have transformed a piece of history for me and my family and for that we are truly grateful, thank you!
